২০১ গম্বুজ মসজিদ

If you are asked where the most domed mosque in the world is located?

You might say it could be anywhere in the Arab world. Really, not at all, your idea is completely wrong. Because the most domed mosque in the world is located in Bangladesh. Location of the mosque is located at Dakshin Pathalia village in Gopalpur Upazila of Tangail district, 40 km northwest of Tangail district town. The name of this aesthetic mosque is 201 Dome Mosque. There are innumerable structures in the heart of the world, among which the mosque is one and the mosques have taken place in the heart of the world due to their own design and features. The 201 Dome Mosque has 201 domes and is the second tallest minaret in the world at 451 feet (138 m). Which is equivalent to a 56-story building and at the four corners of the mosque there are four more minarets 101 feet high which is why the mosque has made a name for itself in the world. This beautiful mosque has two floors where about 15,000 devotees can pray together. Moreover, anyone can recite the Holy Qur'an sitting or standing in the mosque if they want because the 99 names of Allah are inscribed on the tiles on the walls of the mosque and the whole Qur'an and the main door of the mosque will be made of 50 ounces of brass. The tiles used in the mosque have been brought from different countries of the world. The roof of the mosque's ajukhana is mosaic of tiny gray stones, with deep water in it. The ajukhana has been built with a slight curve to enhance the beauty which is very eye-catching. Two separate five-storey buildings will be constructed on the north and south sides of the mosque, one of which is nearing completion. To the west is the Jhenai River which makes the mosque more beautiful. The construction work started in January 2013 at the initiative of Bir Muktijoddha Rafiqul Islam Welfare Trust and Rizia Begum, mother of Bir Muktijoddha Rafiqul Islam Kalyan Trust Chairman Rafiqul Islam inaugurated the construction work. It is said that when the construction work of the mosque is completed, the Imam of Kaaba Sharif will come and lead the prayers and inaugurate the mosque.
